Programme Details
Koo Foundation stepped in to donate specialised commercial machinery, including industrial roller ironers for large linens (such as sheets, napkins, and tablecloths) and a high-capacity industrial tumble dryer. This upgrade directly optimises daily operations, reduces physical strain on the employees, and expands business capacity. Over the next two years, this enhancement is expected to create 6 to 8 new full-time or part-time positions, growing their dedicated workforce from 28 to 36 empowered employees.
Empowerment is not a solitary effort. By modernising Happy Laundry's equipment, we have not only helped secure existing roles but also paved the way for new, dignified employment opportunities.
